Journalism is an integral part of WatchWords and complements our other resources including copywriting, web copywriting and editorial services. WatchWords is managed by Andy Moore, a copywriter and journalist with over 10 years’ experience.
Based in Edinburgh, he contributes to national newspapers, together with consumer and trade magazines. As a Scotland-based journalist, Andy made his mark writing for Reed Business Information, a large European publisher. Working as a deputy section head, he wrote for one of Reed's market-leading magazines.
He contributes to The Guardian , The Scotsman and Evening News, while pieces have appeared in The Independent and The Sunday Times. Under the Reed portfolio he has contributed to Personnel Today , Caterer and Hotelkeeper , Estates Gazette, Commercial Motor and Motor Transport . North of the border, Andy is currently senior associate editor of HR Network Scotland magazine.
Andy holds a certificate in Magazine Journalism, which is accredited by the (NCTJ) National Council for the Training of Journalists and Periodicals Training Council (PTC). His writing career was established through a journalism course, which covered all aspects of magazine production.
